2013 Year in Review
It’s been a great year for us at Form & Function. We’ve had the opportunity to work on some excellent projects, and we’ve added two new folks to our staff.
Take a look at what we’ve accomplished this year:
What was the original real estate office for the Cliffs Community in what is now the DuPont State forest got a full renovation. The cabin is now a visitor center for the many visitors that come to the park. The lower level is now an office for the Forest Rangers.
An existing 1970’s restroom facility needed a grand facelift. With all new fixtures, roof, siding, interiors and ADA compliant upgrades, this restroom facility will now be in commission for many more years for the State Forest.

UNCA’s acquired old MAHEC building. We renovated the existing building for its new tenants. The Advancement Department will be moving into the upper floor of the building while the new Student Health Services will be taking over the bottom floors.
Residential Fireplace & Home Renovation
Our clients took the unfortunate incident of a chimney fire and turned it into an opportunity. We vaulted the ceiling in their living room, foyer and bedroom and designed a new fireplace with built-ins.
We have several wonderful projects in the works for 2014.
– Industrial pre-engineered metal building for a large local industrial client
– Unique restaurant on Riverside Drive
– Fast-casual restaurant with a new take on delicious, Asian cuisine
– Private artist studio and residence
– Modern single family Residence in East Asheville
– Renovations for Buncombe County Schools
-Reroofing of state ADACT facility
Thank you to all our clients and business associates for making our job fun, challenging, and rewarding. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
