This commercial architecture project involved a transformative renovation and vertical expansion of an existing office building to support a growing business’s evolving needs. Located in an urban commercial district, the project scope included the partial removal of the original roof structure to make way for a brand-new second-story conference room, along with a complete interior renovation of the ground floor office space.

Our client approached us with the challenge of modernizing their outdated, divided office layout while also adding much-needed meeting space—all within the footprint of their existing building. The solution: a carefully engineered structural intervention that allowed us to remove half of the existing roof and construct a second level without compromising the integrity of the remaining structure.

The new second-story conference room is a standout feature, designed with large windows that bring in natural light and offer expansive views of the surrounding area. This space serves as a multifunctional hub for team collaboration, client meetings, and presentations, helping to elevate the company’s professional presence.

On the ground floor, we reimagined what was previously two disconnected office spaces into a unified, open-concept workplace that fosters collaboration and improves workflow. Through thoughtful space planning, improved circulation, and strategic interior finishes, we created a more cohesive and productive work environment. Updated lighting, acoustics, and HVAC systems were integrated seamlessly into the renovation to support comfort and energy efficiency.

This project is a strong example of our expertise in commercial office renovations, adaptive reuse, and architectural additions that balance function, design, and budget. By creatively reconfiguring existing space and adding vertical square footage, we delivered a future-ready office environment tailored to the client’s current and long-term needs.
