Our architecture firm was engaged to design and deliver a fully custom, ground-up commercial building for Hi-Tech, a growing company with diverse operational needs. The new facility, located in a mixed-use commercial zone, includes a combination of professional office space, warehouse functions, a theater room, and a commercial-grade kitchen to support the client’s expanding BBQ catering business.
This new-build commercial project was designed to reflect the client’s entrepreneurial spirit and long-term vision. The building footprint was carefully planned to integrate multiple uses under one roof while maintaining workflow efficiency and future adaptability. The ground floor layout includes multiple private offices, an open-plan workspace, storage areas, and a spacious warehouse with loading access.
A key feature of the project is the custom-designed theater room, intended for internal presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions. Designed with acoustic treatment, tiered seating, and integrated AV systems, the space supports both business operations and future client engagement strategies.
In anticipation of future growth, we included a second-story office suite with its own entry and utilities. This flexible space can be easily adapted for additional offices, meeting rooms, or subleasing as needed—providing long-term value and scalability for the client’s business model.
Another unique component of the project is the inclusion of a fully equipped commercial kitchen, tailored to support the client’s emerging BBQ catering operation. This space was designed to meet commercial health and safety codes, with high-performance appliances, durable surfaces, and direct access to the loading dock for event prep and deliveries.
