Our architecture firm was commissioned to complete a full interior renovation of an existing restaurant, taproom, and brewery facility. The project involved strategic design upgrades that enhanced customer experience, improved operational efficiency, and supported the growing production needs of the brewery. The scope included a new entry foyer, a complete redesign of the main bar, an expansion of the brewing area, and the addition of a new outdoor bar and seating area.

Located in a high-traffic area with a loyal local customer base, the existing space had strong potential but was in need of modernization and spatial reorganization. Our team began with a comprehensive site analysis to understand traffic flow, bottlenecks, and areas of opportunity. The new entry foyer was designed to provide a welcoming and efficient transition from outside to inside, creating a clear point of arrival and improving the guest check-in and waitlist experience.
The interior bar was redesigned to increase capacity, improve sightlines, and enhance the overall ambiance. Natural materials, ambient lighting, and custom millwork reflect the character of the brewery’s brand while ensuring durability for high-volume use. In tandem, the brewery expansion allowed for increased production capabilities, featuring upgraded equipment areas and improved access for staff.

To activate the building’s exterior and provide additional seating, a new outdoor bar was added, complete with covered seating and integrated landscaping. This addition not only increased revenue potential but also provided guests with a relaxed, open-air experience that complements the brand’s focus on craft and community.
This hospitality renovation showcases our firm’s expertise in brewery and taproom design, restaurant architecture, and adaptive reuse. By combining thoughtful spatial planning with high-impact design elements, we helped transform this facility into a modern, inviting destination for dining, drinking, and gathering.
